Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior front desk, concierge, customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on office needs
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to calculate simple figures
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Experience or familiarity with healthcare environment and medical insurance preferred
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle urgent and escalated situations
- Team player with capacity to work independently in fast-paced settings

- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to other sites if necessary

- Prior front desk, concierge, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties
- Greet families professionally both in person and on the phone
- Answer patient and family questions and seek clarification when needed
- Access empathy and active listening in difficult interpersonal situations
- Support patient care quality initiatives as directed
- Coordinate escalations and urgent issues ensuring timely resolutions
- Collaborate and communicate with site leadership for complex patient issues
- Employ PM Pediatric Care's core values to assist patients, families, and team members
- Monitor and manage patient flow including assisting with self-registration
- Keep current on workflows, responsibilities, and technology
- Register all patients and maintain accurate patient accounts while complying with HIPAA
- Manage incoming patient documents, mail, and correspondence properly
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing, stocking, sanitizing, and reconciling
- Execute other assigned duties
