Job Description
Pet Paradise is a leading full-service pet care company dedicated to providing superior care and a welcoming environment for pets and their owners across the United States. As a resort-style pet care destination, Pet Paradise integrates premium services such as day camp and care, professional pet grooming, low-stress veterinary care, and overnight boarding that feels like home all under one roof. Operating in ten states with over 60 locations either in operation or development, Pet Paradise is committed to expanding its footprint while maintaining high standards of pet wellness and customer satisfaction. The brand’s mission centers around helping pet parents give their furry family members the happiest, healthiest, and longest life possible by providing access to comprehensive and loving pet care.
At Pet Paradise, the work culture resonates with the spirit of pet lovers who are passionate about animals and dedicated to delivering exceptional service. The company fosters an inclusive, drug-free, and smoke-free workplace that promotes equal opportunity. Team members are supported with comprehensive career development programs including the Unleashed Leadership Academy, Grooming Academy, and Dog Training Academy, enriching both their professional skills and personal growth in the pet care industry. Perks such as complimentary pet day camp and boarding, discounted veterinary care and grooming, on-demand pay, fitness reimbursement, and a robust benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance underpin the company’s commitment to employee well-being.
The Front Desk Associate role at Pet Paradise’s Chesterfield resort offers an engaging and dynamic career opportunity for individuals who thrive in customer-facing positions and have a passion for pets. Starting at $13.50 per hour with incremental increases after six months and annually, this position plays a critical role in shaping the guest experience by providing a warm welcome to pet parents and their furry companions. This is more than a typical front desk job; associates are responsible for creating memorable first impressions by efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs, answering phone calls and emails, managing point of sale transactions, and ensuring that all client and pet needs are meticulously met.
This role requires a hands-on approach to pet handling including walking dogs during drop-off and pickup, managing pet suites, and coordinating with veterinary services when needed. Physical stamina and comfort around animals of all sizes are important, as is the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 60 lbs. Successful candidates will exhibit strong communication skills, a cheerful and team-oriented demeanor, and a keen eye for detail especially in documentation and customer problem-solving. The Front Desk Associate contributes to maintaining a clean, welcoming lobby and entranceway area and supports the care of cats within the facility.
Employees at Pet Paradise enjoy a supportive and pet-friendly environment where their own pets can benefit from complimentary services. Career advancement is strongly encouraged through structured training opportunities, making this a perfect role for someone looking to develop a long-term career in the pet care industry. This position requires flexibility to work varied schedules including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak seasons, reflecting the needs of a busy pet resort. If you are passionate about pets, enjoy customer service, and want to work for a company that truly values its employees and animals alike, joining Pet Paradise as a Front Desk Associate is an ideal career choice.
