Job Description
Action Property Management, established in 1984, is a distinguished leader in homeowner's association (HOA) management with over four decades of dedicated service. Beginning with just one client, our company has grown into the largest privately-owned HOA management company in the Western United States, proudly managing more than 300 communities across 9 offices. Our commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism has driven our success, supported by a talented and passionate team of nearly 900 employees who are devoted to enhancing the living experience of homeowners. We prioritize excellence, innovation, and genuine care for the people we serve, fostering thriving communities where residents feel safe, supported, and at home.
We are currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Associate to join our Beverly West team located in Westwood, Los Angeles. This position is integral to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of our properties. The role's compensation ranges from $21 to $22 per hour, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. As the first point of contact for residents and guests, the Front Desk Associate embodies our company’s values by delivering outstanding 5-star customer service that ensures 100% resident satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations which include maintaining the appearance of the lobby, front desk area, and main elevators, as well as monitoring lobby activity and controlling access to the premises. Concierge services such as answering and directing phone calls, receiving and distributing packages, and addressing resident concerns with professionalism and an understanding of HOA governance documents are also key duties of this role. Daily administrative tasks such as completing activity reports further ensure efficient and effective property management.
Action Property Management is proud to offer an engaging workplace culture where employees love what they do and are supported in their career growth. With competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, 401(k) with company match, and life and disability insurance, we invest in our team’s well-being. Our paid time off policy includes vacation, sick time, and company-observed holidays. Unique to our organization is our commitment to investing in the latest technology, infrastructure, and training programs so our associates can excel in their roles and deliver exceptional service.
Joining our team means becoming part of a company that values diversity and inclusion, demonstrated through our equal opportunity employment practices and support of a drug-free workplace. We also comply with local Fair Chance ordinances by considering applicants with arrest and conviction records, emphasizing our belief in second chances and community support. Our recruitment process incorporates artificial intelligence tools to aid application review and candidate assessment, but final hiring decisions remain human-centered to ensure fairness and personal consideration.
If you are over 18 years of age, possess at least one year of customer service experience, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent, we encourage you to apply. Candidates with hospitality, luxury retail, or fine dining backgrounds, as well as current hospitality management students or recent graduates, will find this role especially suited to their skills and interests. We seek professionals who are polished, upbeat, proactive, and solutions-oriented with a strong sense of judgment and a positive team-player attitude. Step into a rewarding position that makes a difference in residential communities and advance your career with Action Property Management today.
