Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and personable Front Desk Agent to join our front-of-house team. This is a full-time, in-person position with shifts lasting 8 hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure consistent and comprehensive reception coverage. The Front Desk Agent will play a pivotal role as the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities will encompass checking guests in and out, managing reservations, resolving inquiries and complaints, and maintaining a hospitable and professional demeanor aligned with our brand service standards.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at multitasking within a dynamic environment, adept at using property management systems, and equipped with excellent communication skills to assist guests with a wide range of needs—from providing detailed information on local attractions to addressing issues promptly and effectively. Additionally, the ability to stand for extended periods and maintain business professional attire is essential to the role. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, reflecting our commitment to rewarding dedication and talent. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role preferred
  • Proficiency in computer systems and booking software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Checking guests in and out of the hotel
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction up to brand service standards
  • Learn and use the hotel's property management system and computer system
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding local activities, restaurants, special sites and directions
  • Resolving guest issues/complaints
  • Maintain a hospitable and friendly attitude with guests and hotel staff
  • Build guest loyalty by providing exceptional guest service
  • Make and modify hotel reservations
  • Ability to answer a multi line phone system
  • Learn about the hotel's layout, guestrooms, and amenities and be able to sell the hotel accordingly
  • Stand for up to 3 hours at a time
  • Business professional attire
