Residence Inn by Marriott is currently seeking a part-time Service Specialist for their Rooms and Guest Services Operations team. This Non-Management role requires flexibility in working shifts, including availability on weekends and holidays, and offers a competitive pay rate of $17.51 per hour. The Service Specialist plays an integral role in ensuring that guests' experiences are smooth, enjoyable, and unique from the moment they check-in to their departure. Rather than merely handling the usual front desk tasks, this role expands into broader guest service responsibilities throughout key areas of the hotel, always prioritizing guest needs.

The Service Specialist is empowered to take initiative and deliver a variety of services that enhance the overall guest stay. This includes attending to operational tasks, responding promptly to guest requests, serving high-quality food, completing necessary reports, and offering insightful recommendations about local events and attractions. This dynamic role requires physical activity, including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Specialist duties often involve bending, reaching, twisting, and other movements to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Service Specialists must consistently perform these tasks and any other reasonable requests to maintain seamless hotel operations.
