Job Description

ArtHaus Works and ArtHaus Properties represent a unique blend of creative and residential spaces, converging artistic innovation and property management into a dynamic community setting. ArtHaus Works is an innovative member community that unites creative offices, artist studios, and maker spaces under one roof, fostering collaboration and creativity among diverse tenants and members. Complementarily, ArtHaus Properties manages residential and mixed-use real estate assets, overseeing day-to-day property operations to ensure an optimal experience for residents. This dual-focus environment makes ArtHaus a vibrant place to work and engage, where art and community living intersect.

The Front Desk Associate role at ArtHaus is pivotal for maintaining seamless operations across both the creative workspace and residential property management divisions. This position functions as the central point of contact for members, tenants, residents, and guests, providing essential support for front desk activities and light property management functions. As such, the role demands a versatile, customer-focused professional who can handle a range of responsibilities—from managing communication and customer service requests to assisting with rent payment processing and basic leasing administration.

Specifically, this role encompasses tasks such as greeting residents and visitors, answering calls, managing inquiries, and facilitating smooth interactions among diverse community members. The Associate supports property management by reviewing resident ledgers, assisting with rent payments, preparing move-out statements, and coordinating access and security measures like smart lock troubleshooting and key management. The role also involves managing work orders via systems like EliseAI and HappyCo to maintain building maintenance standards.

On the artistic community side, the Front Desk Associate is responsible for welcoming members and guests, managing front desk operations with professionalism and efficiency, and supporting leasing and onboarding efforts for new members. Administrative duties include filing, scanning, document processing, and helping with mail handling and light marketing campaigns. The position also requires active participation in daily building operations like conducting walkthroughs, overseeing cleanliness, managing meeting support, and executing opening and closing procedures.

Additionally, the role plays an important part in supporting events and community initiatives organized by ArtHaus Works and ArtHaus Living. This includes helping plan and execute events, managing invitations and RSVPs, coordinating logistics with vendors, providing on-site event support, and handling event setup and teardown activities.

Ideal candidates are energetic individuals with excellent interpersonal skills, able to navigate multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in property management and customer-facing roles, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and property management software such as Yardi, are highly valued. Spanish language skills are a plus, along with a commitment to professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

This full-time position offers candidates an invaluable entry point into real estate operations and community management within an artistic, mixed-use environment. Joining ArtHaus means contributing to a vibrant community where art and living converge, offering a unique workplace experience with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
