Job Description
WeWork is a global provider of flexible workspace solutions designed to support businesses of all sizes in more than 37 countries worldwide. Established as a leader in the evolving future of work, WeWork is not just part of the movement but actively driving the transformation of workspaces and community environments. The company prides itself on creating vibrant and welcoming communities that empower members to perform their best work and take their ideas to new heights. WeWork's innovative approach combines beautifully designed spaces with a community-focused spirit, providing resources and support to foster productivity and collaboration for entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups, and large enterprises alike.
The role of Front Desk Associate at WeWork is a pivotal position that puts you at the heart of the company’s hospitality team, making you the primary point of contact for members and guests. Operating from one of WeWork’s aesthetically appealing locations during weekdays, you will assist the Community Management team in creating and maintaining a positive and engaging environment. Your daily interactions will range from greeting members and guests with warmth and professionalism to managing operational duties such as mail and package handling.
Depending on the location, you may serve a diverse group of members from various industries or focus on servicing enterprise clients, each requiring a tailored approach to technical systems, operational management, and relationship building. This role is dynamic, involving a variety of responsibilities to keep the front desk running smoothly and the community vibrant. Your duties will include registering guests, orienting first-time visitors, managing access keys, and ensuring the workspace remains organized and welcoming. You will also be expected to promote WeWork’s products and services knowledgeably.
The ideal Front Desk Associate thrives on interpersonal interaction, enjoys creating community-oriented spaces, and excels in multitasking while prioritizing member experience. Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service is valued but not a strict requirement. Strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a commitment to upholding WeWork's core values such as integrity, accountability, and compassion are essential. This full-time position offers an hourly base pay ranging from $21 to $22, with eligibility for role-specific incentive plans. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, parental leave, competitive healthcare options, a 401k plan, and life and AD&D insurance.
Joining WeWork means becoming part of a company that values diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunity. The workplace culture encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth, welcoming people from all backgrounds and experiences. Working here is not just a job; it is an opportunity to contribute to a community that dares to innovate and empower the future of work while building connections that last beyond the office walls.
