Job Duties

  • Coordinates the entry area experience by providing a welcoming and informative experience for visitors
  • communicates effectively with other operations team members and takes a team-oriented approach to work
  • handles conflicts or unexpected situations with diplomacy and discretion
  • addresses day-to-day troubleshooting questions from campus users
  • works with IT/AV to ensure technical support for patrons, especially in evening classrooms
  • coordinates with campus security for safety
  • co-manages a shared email account and handles mail and packages
  • supports students and employees in accessing campus or digital resources and offers general directions
  • occasionally sets up meetings or books rooms and escalates specific questions to appropriate team members
  • creates ID cards and completes other administrative tasks
  • maintains a high standard of organization for campus fixtures and equipment, escalating issues as needed
  • restocks communal spaces and tends to basic cleaning of kitchen areas
  • assists in setting up, arranging, or breaking down meetings or events as needed
  • facilitates campus projects by providing status updates and communicating with vendors
  • receives campus feedback and fields questions to operations leadership
