Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- At least 16 years of age
- Experience with clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and office machine operations
- Ability to operate cash register and maintain records
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate schedules for reservations
- Physical ability to move frequently within the work area, lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Physical presence required at job site
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Minimum of at least 16 years of age
- Clerical skills including typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records, multitasking ability
- Computer proficiency
- Talent for interacting with a wide variety of people
- Effective organization and coordination of multiple priorities
- Ability to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to arrange and coordinate reservation schedules
- Excellent interpersonal, administrative, telephone and communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide administrative, reception and program support to management and staff
- Manage phone activity including providing general knowledge to callers
- Manage walk-in traffic and sign in customers as needed with a welcoming manner
- Register and assign rooms to guests
- Provide quotes for room rates and up-sell the guest when possible
- Assist in coordinating the Front Desk and the Housekeeping Department
- Verify charges and credits on guest folios and collect payments
- Ensure all cash and cash equivalents are balanced at beginning and end of shifts
- Respond to guest inquiries
- Resolve guest complaints within scope or refer to management
- Maintain awareness of safety issues and report to manager
