Job Duties

  • develop and sustain a strong relationship with the customers and the resort by interacting with people in an upbeat, competent, professional manner
  • complete various tasks prior to opening for business each morning and securely closing the lobby in the evening
  • check pets in and out for services, following established procedures
  • prepare invoices and collect payments
  • make daycare and bathing reservations for existing clients
  • document changes to a pet’s care or condition so the owner can be accurately informed, based on reports from the pet care team about the pet’s care and well-being
  • communicate with customers by mail and email
  • direct customer’s inquiries to the correct place
  • prepare paperwork for pets arriving/departing the following day
  • keep apprised of changes made to pet care policies and pricing as needed
  • communicate policies and information to customers upon request in a knowledgeable and friendly manner
  • check email consistently throughout the day, following up with clients in a timely manner
  • distribute new client/tour gifts as appropriate
  • conduct tours for customers as needed
  • maintain front desk and the lobby so it is welcoming and clean
  • communicate with pet care team members regarding guest issues and take appropriate steps necessary to document, evaluate, and respond to the situation
  • exemplify extraordinary customer service providing a top-notch experience for the clients
  • speak to clients and potential clients on the phone and in person to provide information and make reservations for services
  • answering incoming phone calls, voicemails, and emails in a prompt and professional manner
  • utilize the company’s proven sales process which ensures overall success
  • provide accurate and concise information to clients utilizing the tools provided
  • handle reservation confirmations in a timely manner along with service changes and add-ons
  • complete confirmation calls for upcoming Meet & Greet reservations
  • complete confirmation calls for upcoming pending reservations
  • double check reservations booked by team members
  • collect and process reservation deposits
  • conduct facility tours
  • work the Elaine’s Pet Resort booth at community sponsored booths
  • complete reports as required
  • receive on-going training as appropriate
  • maintain the Reservation Center and workspace so it is welcoming and clean
  • collaborate across the organization in the joint effort to provide outstanding customer service and expert pet care
