As a Front Desk Agent/Night Audit Relief at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play a vital role in shaping the vacation experiences of our guests. This position offers an hourly rate of $18.60 and involves working a rotating shift schedule that includes daytime, evening, and overnight shifts, as well as availability on weekends and holidays. The shifts are structured as follows: one day working the first shift from 7 am to 3 pm; two days working the second shift from 3 pm to 11 pm; and two days working the third shift (overnight) from 11 pm to 7 am.
In this role, you are the first point of contact for our owners and guests, responsible for checking them into their villas, providing comprehensive information about property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local points of interest. Beyond check-in, you respond thoughtfully and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests, collaborating with other departments to ensure quick and effective solutions. Your responsibilities include explaining room features such as key usage and common area facilities, and following up to confirm guest satisfaction. Additionally, the job may require assistance with bellman and runner duties depending on the location.
The Front Desk Agent/Night Audit Relief is also tasked with maintaining our company’s high standards for guest experience. This includes warmly welcoming and greeting guests, anticipating their needs, and fostering professional and prompt interactions with both colleagues and guests. You contribute to team goals and strictly adhere to company policies and safety protocols. These responsibilities demand excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, financial security, and professional growth. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) opportunities, travel discounts, credit union membership, tuition reimbursement, professional counseling and family support, as well as growth and development opportunities. Site-specific perks further enhance the work environment with free on-site parking, a work shoe credit through Shoes for Crews twice annually, team lunches, and guest satisfaction awards that can provide monthly bonuses.
This role requires physical capabilities such as reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Employees must also be able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. The position may require background and drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable legal requirements.
Joining Marriott Vacations Worldwide means becoming part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating extraordinary vacation experiences while enjoying opportunities for personal and career growth. If you are enthusiastic about hospitality, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are ready to contribute to a company that values inclusivity and guest satisfaction, this front desk role offers a fulfilling career path.
