The Front Desk & Guest Care position at StudioRes by Marriott is a dynamic role central to the operation of the hotel. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to perform hands-on tasks including public area cleaning and laundry support
  • Ability to manage guest concerns professionally
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times
  • Maintain a high level of service and hospitality
  • Promptly and effectively manage guest concerns or issues and see all are met to satisfaction in timely manner
  • Post guest charges, collect payments and follow all cash handling procedures
  • Handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism
  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs
  • Communicate with various departments and management on guest comments and concerns
  • Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors and team members needing front desk assistance
  • Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
