Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel or customer service preferred
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency with front office systems or quick adaptability
- Cash handling experience
- Positive attitude and willingness to support team goals

Job Duties
- Build rapport with guests and handle inquiries or complaints professionally
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with guests and staff
- Greet and check guests in and out promptly and professionally
- Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
- Accurately post all charges in the front office system
- Demonstrate complete working knowledge of front office computer or manual systems including all daily and less frequent transactions
- Handle guest issues and complaints with patience and effective solutions
- Manage cash handling accurately including receiving cash, checks, and credit card payments and making correct change
- Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly
- Understand hotel rates, discounts, and the handling of each
- Follow reservation procedures including taking same-day reservations efficiently
- Adhere to cancellation and relocation procedures when necessary
