The Front Desk Agent position at Pacific Hospitality Group is an integral role within the organization’s commitment to hospitality excellence. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations calmly
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle guests from diverse social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in English, with ability to speak, read, write and understand
  • Previous guest service or customer service experience desired
  • Experience working in Marriott or Fosse properties is a plus

Job Duties

  • Welcomes guests by greeting them in an enthusiastic and professional manner, answering questions and responding to requests
  • Registers hotel guests by confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning rooms, and issuing door key cards
  • Establishes guest credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cash
  • Deals effectively with internal and external customers, managing conflict with patience, tact and diplomacy
  • Maintains hotel records by entering room and guest data, performs guest accounting functions, collects payments, runs reports, and balances paperwork
  • Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority or refers them to management
  • Notifies supervisor or security of unusual events or safety issues
