As a full-time Front Desk Agent at Rosewood Washington, D.C., you will play a pivotal role in delivering the hotel’s hallmark of Relationship Hospitality. This position demands a detail-oriented, courteous, and highly efficient individual to ensure that each guest receives personalized and memorable service. The hourly pay ranges from $23.00 to $24.00, reflecting the role’s importance and the high standards Rosewood upholds.
Your primary responsibility involves managing the guest experience with professionalism and warmth from arrival through departure. You will provide information and assistance, handle reservations and payments, and resolve any complications that might impact guest satisfaction. A crucial part of your duties is maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all hotel services, room types, daily activities, promotions, and operational protocols while adhering strictly to safety, health, and sanitary guidelines including COVID-19 precautions.
This role requires flexibility with scheduling, including availability on evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, to meet guest needs around the clock. You will also serve as a liaison between guests and various departments to ensure smooth communication and exceptional service delivery. Your ability to anticipate guest needs, solve problems effectively, and foster positive relationships will enhance the overall guest satisfaction and uphold the high standards synonymous with the Rosewood brand.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent preferably in a luxury hotel
- Ability to input and access information in property management systems
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to handle physical work requirements including carrying 35 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Adherence to health and safety guidelines including COVID-19 protocols
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent preferably in a luxury hotel
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Prioritize, organize and follow-up
- Be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
- Follow directions thoroughly
- Understand a guest's service needs
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Ability to input and access information in the property management system and computers
- Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding and difficult guests
- Ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure
- Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guests and their information
- Ability to work with direct supervision
- Previous OPERA experience preferred
- Mid-level to advance computer skills
- Required to speak, read and write English with fluency in other languages preferred
- Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting a minimum of 35 pounds, endure various physical movements
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles is advantageous
