Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards
- Comply with all Avion Hospitality policies, standards and regulations
- Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk
- Maintain proper operation of the telephone switchboard
- Handle requests for information, mail and messages efficiently and courteously
- Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and local information
- Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with other departments
- Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions
- Obtain necessary information when taking room reservations
- Be familiar with Avion Hospitality policies and house rules
- Assist in emergency procedures as required
- Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner
- Operate Front Desk computer systems
- Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette
- Deliver guest items such as luggage and amenities as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property amenities and local attractions
- Perform other duties as assigned including assisting coworkers and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel and grounds
