This opportunity is for the position of Front Desk Receptionist, also known as a Front Desk Agent or Night Auditor, at the Holiday Inn Express located at 3711 Chamberlain Lane, Louisville, KY. This role is integral to delivering exceptional guest service as the front-line representative of the hotel. The position involves working shifts covering 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing continuity and excellence in service during busy evening and overnight hours. This role offers part-time employment with a competitive compensation rate starting at $14.00 per hour.
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the primary point of contact for hotel guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. Your responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, conducting efficient check-ins and registrations, and managing room assignments while ensuring accurate record-keeping and key control. In addition, you will provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience and encourage repeat visits. You will also be responsible for managing check-out procedures, processing payments accurately, and addressing any concerns or complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
The role requires multitasking and strong communication skills, including proficiency in hotel management software and computer applications. Physical stamina is important, as the job involves continuous movement throughout the workday. While prior experience in the hotel industry is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this position an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates passionate about customer service and hospitality.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience preferred
- ability to use hotel software systems
- excellent communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- availability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- ability to stand and move continuously during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking with excellent communication skills
- proficiency with computers and hotel management software
- previous hotel experience preferred but not required
