The Front Desk Agent role is a key position within this company, combining customer service and security responsibilities to ensure a smooth and safe experience for residents, guests, and service providers. This position requires an individual with strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills, alongside the ability to multitask effectively and maintain attention to detail. The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for many interactions and must display an approachable, friendly attitude. Responsibilities include greeting and directing residents, guests, and invitees; checking people in and out; monitoring and controlling access to the building; and operating electronic security control systems.
In addition to routine duties, the Front Desk Agent plays a pivotal role in emergency response procedures, reacting promptly and appropriately to incidents. Maintaining accurate daily logs, records, and forms is critical to ensuring the security team's smooth operation and informed decision-making. The role also involves following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment throughout the property.
This is a full-time position requiring punctuality, good attendance, and reliable transportation. Candidates with prior front desk or hospitality experience, business or hospitality education, and bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are preferred. Being able to lift moderate weights and standing or sitting for extended periods are part of the physical demands of the job. The position may also require working extended hours or weekends depending on project needs. Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years front desk experience
- hospitality experience preferred or college level courses in business or hospitality preferred
- high school diploma or equivalency preferred
- intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- multiple language fluency is desirable
- strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to lift 30-50 lbs
- ability to work upright standing or sitting for long periods
- ability to handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages
- ability to reach with hands and arms
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- ability to quickly navigate the property/building as required
- ability to complete all required forms
- ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements
- ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner
- punctuality and good attendance record
- reliable means of transportation to work
Job Qualifications
