Job Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 months hospitality general office accounts receivable or customer service experience
- Ability to speak and hear in English
- Close and distance vision
- Frequent sitting walking and standing
- Ability to lift and carry 6-25 lbs
- Frequent use of manual dexterity and motor skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to work overtime and irregular hours
- Ability to communicate clearly and listen carefully
Job Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 months hospitality general office accounts receivable or customer service experience
- Ability to speak and hear in English
- Effective communication skills with diverse individuals
- Ability to multitask and switch between activities quickly
- Proficient in operating switchboard or computer keyboard
- Strong personal judgment and information giving skills
Job Duties
- Greet register and assign rooms to guests
- Issue room keys and escort instructions without announcing room numbers
- Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and local amenities
- Keep records of room availability and guest accounts
- Make confirm and cancel reservations
- Compute bills collect payment and make change
- Post charges for room food liquor or telephone
- Date-stamp sort and rack incoming mail and messages
- Transmit and receive messages using telephone fax and switchboard
- Enforce hotel credit policies and account for all cash deposits
- Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Lead assigned employees in the absence of the Supervisor
- Assign work and ensure proper employee performance
- Make restaurant transportation or entertainment reservations
- Deposit guests valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit box
- Order complimentary flowers or champagne for special guests
- Perform other duties as assigned
