The role involves responsibilities critical to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle monetary transactions accurately including cash and credit card payments, and ensure all postings and corrections are balanced correctly at the end of each shift. You will also prepare cash turn-in sheets and assist with record-keeping and reporting related to marketing efforts and management requests. In this role, providing courteous and friendly service to both guests and staff members is paramount. You will be expected to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands, reflecting the dynamic nature of the gaming environment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year computer experience
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push and pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year computer experience
  • Experience with LMS preferred
  • Exceptional customer service focus including attention to producing quality results
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
  • Written communication skills in English may also be required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations

Job Duties

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management
  • Responsible for sign-in and sign-out of individual bank
  • Check guests in upon arrival
  • Collect proper cash and/or credit card
  • Post room charges, paid outs and corrections
  • Check guests out upon departure
  • Balance posting at the end of the shift
  • Prepare a correct and complete cash turn-in sheet
  • Maintain informational records as assigned for marketing
  • Prepare reports as requested
  • Must provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests
  • Perform related duties as requested
