Job Description
Our hotel is a proudly operated independent franchisee hotel associated with the well-known Hilton brand, offering guests a warm and professional hospitality experience. As a franchise-operated establishment, the hotel upholds rigorous standards to ensure guests receive excellent service and hospitality throughout their stay. The hotel values each member of its team and is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive work environment that promotes growth, development, and job satisfaction. As part of the franchisee's team, employees benefit from the culture and professionalism often associated with Hilton, while enjoying the unique atmosphere of an independently owned hotel.
We are currently seeking dedicated, friendly, and professional individuals to join our team as Front Desk Agents or Night Auditors. These full-time and part-time positions are vital to the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel and provide an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a career in hospitality or to gain valuable experience in the hotel industry. The successful candidates will be the face of the hotel, responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing day-to-day front desk operations, and ensuring the safety and security of the property, especially during overnight hours.
The role of Front Desk Agent involves greeting guests with a warm welcome, efficiently checking them in and out, handling reservations, assignments, and guest inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, promptly addressing guest needs, resolving concerns, and creating a friendly and professional environment are key to this role. The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential. Previous Hilton experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
For those opting for the Night Auditor role, the responsibilities include performing nightly audit procedures, balancing daily financial transactions, preparing financial and operational reports, and ensuring the safety and security of the hotel throughout the overnight shifts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, comfort with numerical data, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Candidates for either position should possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and basic computer proficiency to adapt to hotel management systems. The ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds, as assisting guests and moving around the property are part of the daily tasks.
This opportunity offers the unique experience of working in a hospitality environment where excellence in guest service and operational efficiency is prioritized. Employees will also enjoy access to Hilton Team Member Travel Benefits, reflecting the connection to the broader Hilton network even as they work under the independent franchisee. Join us to become an integral part of a hotel team committed to delivering memorable stays and outstanding service to our guests.
