Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality preferred
  • experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
  • ability to stand and exert mobility for up to four hours
  • ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • ability to operate office equipment such as computers and multi-line phones
  • good communication skills
  • basic computational skills
  • ability to deal with customers with tact and diplomacy
  • knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
  • ability to work independently
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hospitality preferred
  • experience in front desk or customer service role preferred
  • good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
  • basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
  • strong organizational and customer relations skills

  • good mathematical and computational ability

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • execute the registration and checkout process at the front desk
  • accept payment for guests accounts, maintain a house bank and make accurate reports of receipts daily, cash checks, and exchange currency for guests
  • accurately handle cash transactions and balance a cash drawer
  • acknowledge rewards members and returning guests
  • take and manage guest bookings and upselling opportunities
  • review arrival reports and check special request reservations
  • attend all scheduled training and meetings
  • ensure awareness of special promotions, activities, VIPs, groups, and scheduled shuttles
  • follow safe work practices
  • adhere to privacy and security protocols
  • answer and transfer phone calls
  • coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs
  • answer inquiries about hotel policies and local attractions
  • maintain lobby cleanliness and organization
  • assist in booking reservations and handling mail and packages
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
