Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality preferred
- experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to four hours
- ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- ability to operate office equipment such as computers and multi-line phones
- good communication skills
- basic computational skills
- ability to deal with customers with tact and diplomacy
- knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
- ability to work independently
- strong attention to detail
- excellent organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hospitality preferred
- experience in front desk or customer service role preferred
- good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
- basic computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
- strong organizational and customer relations skills
- detail oriented
- self-driven and able to work independently
- strong issue resolution and analytical skills
- good mathematical and computational ability
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- execute the registration and checkout process at the front desk
- accept payment for guests accounts, maintain a house bank and make accurate reports of receipts daily, cash checks, and exchange currency for guests
- accurately handle cash transactions and balance a cash drawer
- acknowledge rewards members and returning guests
- take and manage guest bookings and upselling opportunities
- review arrival reports and check special request reservations
- attend all scheduled training and meetings
- ensure awareness of special promotions, activities, VIPs, groups, and scheduled shuttles
- follow safe work practices
- adhere to privacy and security protocols
- answer and transfer phone calls
- coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs
- answer inquiries about hotel policies and local attractions
- maintain lobby cleanliness and organization
- assist in booking reservations and handling mail and packages
- perform other duties as assigned by management
