The role of a Guest Services Agent at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is critical in providing outstanding service and hospitality to Owners and guests. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $22.00 and requires availability to work the 1st or 2nd shift including weekends and holidays. As a Guest Services Agent, the individual plays a vital part in checking guests in, informing them about property amenities, services, and local attractions, and responding promptly to their questions and concerns. The position supports overall guest satisfaction by coordinating with other departments and ensuring that guests’ requests are met with care and professionalism. Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy
  • Specific job duties may differ by property, size of team, or facility

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Check owners/guests into their villas and review property amenities, services, hours of operations, and local areas of interest and activities
  • Actively listen and respond positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests and contact other departments to resolve guest issues
  • Identify and explain room features to guests such as use of room key, ice and vending areas
  • Follow up with owners/guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction
  • Answer telephone calls and route calls to the proper department as applicable
  • Assist with bellman and runner duties depending on facility or location
  • Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
