The role of the Front Desk Agent at Arbor Lodging is a critical one, positioned at the forefront of the guest experience. Serving as the initial point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner. This role involves handling the entire check-in and check-out process, ensuring that room keys are distributed efficiently, guest reservations are verified, and any inquiries or issues are promptly addressed. In this position, the agent is expected to manage reservation processes, pre-registrations, and room blocking effectively. They play a pivotal role in assisting large groups during arrival and ensuring smooth transitions in room assignments. The agent handles payment processing meticulously, in line with established procedures, and is encouraged to upsell additional hotel facilities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to the hotel's revenue.

The Front Desk Agent also acts as a problem solver, being the first to handle and resolve guest issues, ensuring that every visitor's needs are met quickly and courteously. Job Duties

  • Greet and check-in guests in a friendly manner
