Job Description
Arbor Lodging is a distinguished hotel investment and management company with an expansive and rapidly growing portfolio of hotels situated across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. This company is renowned for its trusted partnerships and enjoys the privilege of being an approved manager for several of the world's leading hotel brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG. With a deep commitment to excellence, Arbor Lodging's service ethos prioritizes a proactive and holistic approach, ensuring that guests feel genuinely welcomed and supported at every point of interaction during their stay. The company's culture is uniquely people-focused, integrates data-driven decision-making processes, and remains firmly results-oriented, which creates an appealing and rewarding working environment.
The Front Desk Agent role at Arbor Lodging is pivotal to the guest experience, acting as the welcoming face and primary point of contact for guests upon their arrival. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of guest check-ins and check-outs, including verifying reservations, distributing room keys, and registering guests efficiently and courteously. The Front Desk Agent is also key in addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and service needs promptly and with a high level of professionalism. This role demands a balance of strong interpersonal skills and operational efficiency, ensuring that every guest interaction contributes positively to their overall satisfaction.
Beyond these core responsibilities, the Front Desk Agent plays an important function in supporting reservation processes, including assisting with pre-registrations, room blocking, and handling large group arrivals. The position also involves upselling additional hotel facilities and services, thus contributing directly to the hotel's revenue. Communication is critical in this role; the agent must effectively liaise with other hotel departments to resolve guest concerns and fulfill requests. Additionally, handling payments securely and according to hotel procedures is an essential duty.
Arbor Lodging offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17 to $18, with salary reviews announced annually to encourage growth and reward excellent performance. Employees benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance options for eligible staff, a 401k program featuring company matching contributions, and wellness benefits designed to support overall employee health and well-being.
The company’s guiding principles highlight integrity, kindness, accountability, ambition, and respect for diversity, fostering a workplace culture where employees are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. Arbor Lodging is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing a fair employment environment without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information. This Front Desk Agent position is an excellent career opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences in an industry-leading environment.
