This role pertains to the part-time position of Front Desk Agent, based at The Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center, with a competitive hourly wage of $21.00. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for guests, charged with delivering impeccable customer service and ensuring a welcoming, smooth guest experience during overnight shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM. Responsibilities include checking guests in with precision, maintaining accurate accounts, noting and fulfilling special requests, and acting as a knowledgeable resource for hotel services and local attractions. The agent is expected to embody a service-oriented demeanor that can handle guest needs proactively and resolve issues creatively to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Working overnight requires a dependable and personable professional who can engage warmly with guests, provide detailed information about amenities, and collaborate effectively with hotel staff across departments. Job Duties
- Works overnight
- check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established
- provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
- help to resolve problems and “WOW” guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
- interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
- be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies
- maintain house bank
- communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
- follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
