The Front Desk Agent position at Westgate Blue Tree Resort is a vital role focused on delivering superior customer service and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of the front desk. Front Desk Agents act as the welcoming face of the resort, providing guests with memorable first impressions, personalized service, and efficient handling of all check-in, check-out, and guest service functions. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for managing various financial transactions accurately, including processing payments and maintaining guest folios. This role also involves handling reservations, confirmations, and modifications, requiring attention to detail and proficiency with computer systems. Beyond transactional duties, the agent partners with multiple departments such as housekeeping and concierge to ensure guest satisfaction and promote resort amenities and upgrades. Job Duties
- Warmly greets guests, manages check-in and check-out processes, and assigns accommodations in accordance with established procedures
- Provides personalized assistance by answering inquiries, offering recommendations, and following up promptly when additional information is required
- Demonstrates empowerment in resolving guest concerns, taking ownership of service recovery to ensure satisfaction
- Performs cashiering functions including settling folios, processing payments, and posting charges accurately
- Handles reservations, confirmations, and modifications with attention to detail and efficiency
- Transmits and receives guest communications via phone, email, text, and in-person interactions with professionalism
- Upholds service standards and property-specific guidelines at all times
