The hotel features 250 guest rooms, 23 flexible meeting rooms, and more than 35,000 square feet of meeting space, hosting a wide range of guests and events. The role on offer is that of a Front Office Agent, a vital position responsible for providing friendly and efficient registration, guest settlement, and comprehensive information services to guests, fellow employees, and visitors. This part-time role, offering 16-29 hours per week depending on business needs, requires candidates to be flexible, including availability during Texas A&M football games, Ring Days, graduations, and other peak occupancy events. Compensation starts at $12.00 per hour with opportunities for increases to $13.00 after completing 1,000 hours worked, with pay distributed biweekly. Job Duties
- Check guest in ensuring proper credit is received special requests are noted and fulfilled and accurate information is established
- Provide exceptional customer service with a smile and empathy
- Thoroughly complete all guest transactions
- Promote and sell special hotel programs
- Interact with fellow team members professionally assisting other departments with necessary information
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies
- Maintain house bank including cash handling
- Maintain hotel gift shop and check out guests in gift shop
- Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office Managers and Supervisors
- Follow set procedures on posting charges cashing checks tax information safe deposits and refunds
