The role of a Front Desk Agent at Wayfinder Waikiki is pivotal in delivering an outstanding guest experience. This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $27.50, providing a competitive compensation package. The Front Desk Agent serves as the welcoming face of the hotel, responsible for greeting guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and addressing guest inquiries. This individual is expected to have a thorough knowledge of hotel reservation systems, front desk procedures, and be adept at resolving guest complaints quickly and professionally.

Beyond administrative duties, the Front Desk Agent acts as a vital information resource, imparting knowledge about hotel amenities and the local community. Job Duties

  • Perform daily front desk procedures including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries
  • maintain a thorough working knowledge of the reservation system and front desk procedures
  • address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • process guest payments according to established procedures and policies including proper cash handling and credit card authorizations
  • communicate efficiently with other hotel departments to support special requests, late check-outs, maintenance needs, and guest concerns
  • assist with pre-registration and room blocking of reservations, prepare for group arrivals and departures
  • provide the highest level of service to guests at all times
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
