The Front Desk Agent role at THesis Hotel Miami is critical for upholding the high standards of guest service for which the company is known. As the initial point of contact, this role demands a welcoming and professional demeanor with the ability to efficiently manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. The Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in ensuring smooth hotel operations by coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams. This position offers a regular employment type with a competitive salary starting at $16.00 per hour.

Job Requirements

  • A valid drivers license with no major infractions for 6 months
  • hospitality industry experience is a plus
  • must be able to work a full shift standing and going back and forth to the valet lot and different areas of the hotel
  • a strong desire to make an impact on other people
  • an outgoing and engaging personality
  • ability to stand for the duration of the shift

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year in a customer service role with high guest interaction

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
  • handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • manage reservations, answer guest inquiries, and address complaints promptly
  • maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • provide accurate information about the hotel, rooms, rates, and amenities
  • process payments and manage cash transactions accurately
  • coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations
  • promote teamwork and contribute to a friendly, safe work environment
  • perform other duties as assigned
