Job Description

Stay Hotel Waikiki is a charming boutique hotel perfectly situated just two blocks from the world-renowned Waikiki Beach, nestled in the lively and bustling heart of Honolulu. Known for its affordability and prime location, this small hotel offers guests a unique blend of comfort and convenience, making it an ideal choice for travelers who want to experience the vibrant culture and picturesque beauty of Hawaii without straining their budgets. Each room at Stay Hotel Waikiki is thoughtfully designed with modern furnishings and includes amenities that prioritize guest comfort and satisfaction. The staff are committed to going above and beyond, ensuring every guest experiences a memorable and pleasant stay.

Join Stay Hotel Waikiki as a front desk team member, a role integral to creating an excellent first impression and ongoing hospitality experience for visitors. This position offers the perfect opportunity for individuals who thrive in social environments and enjoy engaging directly with a diverse clientele. While previous hotel experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement. The hotel values enthusiasm, reliability, and a passion for customer service over formal experience and provides comprehensive training to help new hires excel. This role demands a multitasker who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, adapting to the dynamic environment of a busy hotel. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

The front desk team member will be responsible for managing reservations via phone and online platforms, conducting smooth check-in and check-out processes, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Handling challenging situations with tact and empathy is essential, as employee efforts directly affect the overall guest experience and satisfaction. Career advancement opportunities are available for outstanding staff members, reflecting the hotel's dedication to recognizing and rewarding commitment and excellence.

Additionally, Stay Hotel Waikiki supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance with vision and dental options, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, and two floating holidays annually. Employees also enjoy discounts on stays at other managed hotels across the country, making this role not only rewarding professionally but also personally for those who love traveling. Stay Hotel Waikiki is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated and employees are valued.
