The current opening is for a part-time Front Desk Agent who will play a crucial role in delivering excellent guest service. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can create memorable first impressions and connect with guests from diverse backgrounds. The Front Desk Agent will handle essential front desk functions such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries, serving as a knowledgeable guide to the hotel's amenities and the local area. The agent will be instrumental in ensuring guest satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly and professionally, processing payments securely, and coordinating with other hotel departments to meet guest needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with OPERA hotel reservation software preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Perform daily front desk procedures including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries
  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of the reservation system and front desk procedures
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • Process guest payments according to established procedures and policies including proper cash handling and credit card authorizations
  • Communicate efficiently with other hotel departments to support special requests, late check-outs, maintenance needs, and guest concerns
  • Assist with pre-registration and room blocking of reservations
  • prepare for group arrivals and departures
  • Provide the highest level of service to guests at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
