The role of Front Desk Agent at the Hampton Inn in Omaha, NE, offers an exciting opportunity to join this dynamic team. This position focuses on delivering outstanding customer service and managing the front desk operations efficiently. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling inquiries, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Acting as the first point of contact for guests, the agent plays a critical role in creating a positive and lasting impression of the hotel. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, providing directions, and assisting with any guest requests or issues.

The Front Desk Agent also manages incoming mail and faxes, maintains accurate records of room availability, guest accounts, and processes billing and payments with accuracy and professionalism. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a customer service industry are preferred. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Basic proficiency with hotel management software
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
  • Issue room keys and provide directions

  • Maintain records of room availability and guests' accounts
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations
