Job Description

HVMG, short for Hospitality Ventures Management Group, is a nationally recognized hospitality management company committed to fostering a positive and dynamic work environment. With a broad portfolio of hotels across the United States, HVMG emphasizes a Culture of Excellence that drives its mission forward. This culture is not just a phrase but a principle that the company lives and breathes, evident in its operations from the corporate office to its field locations. HVMG prides itself on providing career growth opportunities, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits, making it an ideal workplace for those passionate about hospitality and guest service.

HVMG is currently seeking a Front Desk Agent to become the first point of contact for guests at one of its hotel properties. The role of Front Desk Agent is pivotal in delivering an excellent guest experience by providing warm and professional service throughout each guest's stay. Responsibilities include handling guest check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations, and addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with guests to ensure a seamless and welcoming atmosphere.

The Front Desk Agent will report directly to the Front Office Manager or Front Office Supervisor and will play an essential role in upholding the high standards of customer service that HVMG is known for. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 and is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin or advance their careers in the hospitality industry. The role opens doors for future career advancements, including opportunities to progress to front office supervisor, front office manager, or even higher management positions within hotel operations.

Candidates should have a combination of education and experience, preferably in the hotel industry, although prior experience is a plus rather than a strict requirement. The company seeks individuals who are eligible to work in the United States, possess strong English language skills in reading, writing, and communication, and are physically capable of performing duties that may require sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodations. Flexibility is key, as the position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Working with HVMG means embracing a Culture of Excellence and being part of a team that values mutual respect and professional growth. The company provides its associates with numerous benefits, including full healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision), a 401(k) plan with a guaranteed 4% match and no vesting period, paid time off and paid holidays, access to exclusive discounts on hotel stays and food and beverage, and the innovative PayActive program that allows employees to access up to 40% of their earned wages before payday.

The role of Front Desk Agent at HVMG is not merely a job but a pathway to a thriving career in hospitality. The company supports career development at all levels and encourages motivated individuals to take charge of their professional futures. Through exceptional customer service and dedication, the Front Desk Agent contributes significantly to a guest’s memorable experience, ultimately reinforcing HVMG's reputation for excellence in hotel management and guest satisfaction.
