Currently, BLU-Tique Hotel is seeking part-time Front Desk Agents for their Akron location. This position involves being the first point of contact for guests, handling check-in and check-out processes, and addressing guest requests with a courteous and professional demeanor. The role offers compensation ranging from $14 to $18 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of front desk experience or a background in hospitality education, with preference given to those with experience at Marriott or familiarity with LightSpeed systems. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability on holidays and weekends, is essential for this position.
As a Front Desk Agent, responsibilities include managing room reservations both in-person and through online or phone channels, providing detailed information about hotel amenities and rewards programs, and coordinating with the housekeeping department to ensure rooms are prepared for guests. Additionally, this role involves regular bookkeeping duties, requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
