The Front Desk Agent role at Hotel Drover is vital in ensuring every guest receives legendary hospitality from the moment they arrive until their departure. Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully in person and over the phone
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a current TABC Certification prior to beginning the job
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for collaboration and delivering guest-focused service
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to stay calm in stressful situations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
  • Experience with Opera PMS, Marriott MGS, and Bonvoy preferred
  • Knowledge of Fort Worth and the surrounding DFW metroplex preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine Texas hospitality during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay
  • Process reservations, registrations, payments, and room assignments accurately and efficiently
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate follow-up
  • Use up-selling and cross-selling techniques to maximize room revenue while enhancing the guest experience
  • Balance all cash, check, and credit card accounts through verification
  • Maintain a polished and professional image through appearance, dress, and communication
  • Partner with all hotel departments to anticipate guest needs and ensure seamless service
  • Complete daily reports, logs, and shift handovers accurately
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, protecting company assets and maintaining confidentiality
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
