The role of Guest Services Agent at Aqua Aston Hospitality is integral to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position is hourly, with a competitive wage of $24.74 per hour. As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our owners and guests, assisting them with check-in procedures, providing detailed information about property amenities, services, and local attractions to ensure their stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Your responsibilities will also include responding to guest inquiries, addressing concerns promptly and efficiently, and coordinating with other departments to resolve any issues. This role demands an individual who is attentive, courteous, and proactive in delivering high-quality customer service.
In this position, you will frequently interact with guests to anticipate and meet their needs, helping them create lasting vacation memories. Duties also include answering telephone calls, routing them appropriately, and assisting with bellman and runner duties when necessary. Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Lift/Carry/Push/Pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Checks owners/guests into their villas for their stay and reviews property amenities, services, hours of operations, and local areas of interest and activities
- Actively listens and responds positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests and contacts other departments to help resolve guest issues
- Identifies and explains room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, ice, and vending areas)
- Follow up with owner/guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction
- Answers telephone calls and routes calls to the proper department as applicable
- May be asked to assist with bellman and runner duties depending on facility or location
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
