The Front Desk Agent is a pivotal member of our hospitality team, serving as the first point of contact for guests as they arrive at our hotel. This role requires a dynamic individual who excels in interpersonal communication, multitasking, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Agent’s primary responsibility is to ensure smooth and efficient operations at the front desk by managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth. This position plays a critical role in setting the tone for the guest's experience, acting as an ambassador who represents the hotel’s brand values and service standards.

In this role, you will greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, process room assignments accurately, handle payments and billing, and maintain control of room keys to ensure guest security. Additionally, you will provide concierge services such as arranging transportation and offering local information to enhance the guest's stay. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for balancing administrative duties and maintaining an orderly front desk area. You will also be responsible for monitoring safety and security procedures, assisting guests with luggage, and ensuring all guests receive outstanding service according to brand standards.

This position is non-exempt and reports directly to the Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, or General Manager. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. Physical stamina is required to perform tasks such as lifting and bending, and a high level of adaptability is essential due to the variety of responsibilities encompassed by the role. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and hotel software
  • Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs
  • On-site work at the hotel property

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and process check-ins and check-outs
