This job opening is for a Front Desk Agent position. The role requires an individual who is courteous, efficient, and highly professional in managing guest interactions. Front Desk Agents at Raines are responsible for greeting guests warmly, handling inquiries, checking guests in and out, and managing room reservations. The position is pivotal as the Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact, setting the tone for guest experiences. Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 or similar software
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Pre-employment background check required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or guest-related roles
  • Experience in hospitality, hotels, or restaurants preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications
  • Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Problem-solving skills for guest complaints

Job Duties

  • Ensures outstanding customer service at all times
  • Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor
  • Accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations
  • Consistently resolves guest problems and complaints efficiently
  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to increase occupancy and revenue
  • Allocates rooms according to guest preferences and special requests
  • Coordinates with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance
  • Handles guest phone calls, wake-up calls, and messages promptly
  • Cross-checks billing instructions for accuracy
  • Manages group arrivals and pre-registration
  • Completes cash transactions and maintains personal bank
  • Updates and maintains the front desk log
  • Follows guest check-in and security procedures
  • Assists other departments during high volume periods
  • Attends required meetings
