The Holiday Inn & Suites Salt Lake City Airport West is a well-established full-service hotel located conveniently near Salt Lake City International Airport. This position is for a full-time Front Desk Agent working 32-40 hours per week with flexible days. The shift is scheduled from 3 PM to 11 PM, ideal for individuals seeking evening work hours. The starting pay is $13.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth within the hotel’s team. The Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in the overall guest experience by serving as the initial point of contact for guests checking in and checking out of the hotel. This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive, proactive attitude.

The main objective of the Front Desk Agent is to enhance the quality assurance standards of the hotel, promote a safe environment, and contribute to the overall guest satisfaction. Candidates must demonstrate a willing, urgent, and can-do attitude to tackle daily responsibilities effectively. The successful agent will also work closely with supervisors and co-workers to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift. Key responsibilities include managing front desk cash, executing check-in and check-out procedures with attention to guest needs, maintaining cleanliness and order in guest-facing and back office areas, and completing required brand trainings.

Additionally, the Front Desk Agent supports team efforts by providing detailed communication across hotel departments to address guest requests or concerns promptly. Physical requirements include the ability to carry, lift, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, alongside frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing to maintain a high level of service and operational efficiency. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time hours between 32 to 40 hours per week

  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and moving around the facility
  • Must maintain a professional appearance in full uniform
  • Reliable and punctual with strong work ethics

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Basic math skills to handle cash accurately
  • Proficiency with front desk software systems is a plus
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Maintain a full uniform and professional appearance at all times
