MVW is currently hiring for the full-time position of Guest Services Agent. This role is essential in providing top-notch customer service and ensuring owners and guests have an excellent vacation experience. The hourly pay rate for this position is $20.65, with shifts available on 1st and 2nd shifts including weekends and holidays, emphasizing the importance of flexibility and dedication in this role.

As a Guest Services Agent at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them warmly and assisting with check-ins to their villas. Your responsibilities extend to providing detailed information about property amenities, services, hours of operation, as well as local areas of interest and activities. Your role is pivotal in actively listening to guests’ questions, concerns, and requests and promptly resolving issues by coordinating with other departments.

You will be expected to explain room features, such as the use of room keys and availability of ice and vending machines, ensuring guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay. Follow-up is also a key aspect of this position, confirming that guests’ needs and problems are met to their satisfaction. Communication skills are crucial as you will handle telephone calls and redirect inquiries to the appropriate departments. Depending on the facility, assisting with bellman and runner duties may also be part of your daily tasks.

Beyond individual guest interactions, the role requires maintaining company standards by welcoming guests and anticipating their needs proactively. Professional and prompt interaction with colleagues and guests is vital to contributing to team goals.
