The role available is focused on the Guest Service position, responsible for welcoming and assisting guests throughout their stay at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. This position requires a strong commitment to upholding the Virgin culture and delivering a superior level of service. The guest service team member will be well-versed in every feature and service the hotel provides, from room configurations to promotional packages. This role involves using various front office technical systems, including LMS, Luxe Pricing, HotSOS, and Salto, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures tailored to individual guest preferences, whether traditional or mobile. Additionally, the position mandates meticulous attention to guest account handling, dispute resolution, and maintaining a neat and organized work environment. The role demands excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to interact efficiently with guests, co-workers, and management. Teamwork and creativity are critical, as the position encourages thinking outside the box to craft memorable experiences for guests. Employees are expected to uphold security procedures, manage guest inquiries, keep accurate documentation, and support daily operational tasks such as shift checklists and bank accuracy. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Learn and retain complete knowledge of and comply with all policies and procedures
  • maintain the Virgin culture and level of standards set forth by the management team
  • always maintain complete knowledge of hotel features/services, hours of operation
  • be familiar with room types, numbers, layout, décor, locations, rates, and appointments
  • be aware and understand all aspects of special packages, and promotions
  • daily house count and expected arrivals/departures
  • room availability status for any given day
  • scheduled daily group activities
  • use excellent communication skills with guests, staff including verbal, written and body language
  • learn and retain knowledge of all front office technical systems (LMS, Luxe Pricing, HotSOS and Salto)
  • assist and process check-in and check-outs for our guests in accordance with their preference (traditional or mobile)
  • process guest accounts by presenting folios to guests when requested, resolving any disputed charges and settling accounts by following accounting procedures
  • maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment
  • obtain an assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
  • always keep bank secure
  • be able to communicate timely and in a responsive manner via digital device
  • be familiar with the property loyalty programs to ensure guest profile information is relevant and it is being utilized to dazzle our guests during their stay
  • ensure all guests questions and requests are completed and followed up on while executing fabulous guest service
  • be creative and think outside the box to create memorable experiences for our guests
  • take, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly
  • complete all items on the shift checklist
  • adhere to security procedures to ensure our guest's safety
  • handle all issues and concerns and keep proper documentation of all important events
