Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • register guests and process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously
  • manage telephone switchboard operations according to performance standards
  • respond promptly to guest requests for information, mail, and messages
  • provide accurate answers to guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure excellent guest service
  • maintain knowledge of rates, packages, promotions, and in-house groups
  • assist guests with reservations and rate quoting
  • follow hotel policies, standards, and safety regulations
  • handle emergency procedures knowledgeably
  • ensure the logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages
  • use proper radio etiquette when communicating with associates
  • deliver guest items such as luggage, newspapers, or amenities as requested
  • maintain a clean and organized work area and uphold cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel
  • support coworkers in various departmental tasks as needed
