The Front Desk & Guest Care position at StudioRes by Marriott is a dynamic and vital role within the hotel operation. Front Desk associates serve as the first and last impression guests have during their stay, making their role critical to guest satisfaction and overall experience. Beyond guest interaction, the position requires excellent communication skills to coordinate with other hotel departments, assisting in smooth hotel operations. Your expertise in managing guest billing, handling payments, and adhering to cash handling procedures will help maintain the hotel's operational integrity.

This role is suited to individuals with a passion for guest care, who are proactive, responsible, and enthusiastic about creating memorable experiences. Knowledge or experience with Lightspeed is desirable but not mandatory, offering opportunities for candidates new to hotel front desk technology to grow. Marriott experience is preferred, enhancing the ability to provide brand-specific service excellence.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to provide hands-on support with public area cleaning and laundry
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of Lightspeed technology desirable but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at all times

  • Communicate guest comments and concerns to various departments and management

  • Maintain full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
