Job Requirements
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a standard office environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
- Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment
- Ability to lift and or move 10 to 25 pounds as needed
- Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials
- Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings
Job Qualifications

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of hotel rates, discounts, cancellation and relocation procedures
- Experience working in a hotel front office or customer service environment preferred
- Ability to use front office computer systems
Job Duties
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel
- Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
- Promptly, accurately and efficiently know how and where to post all charges
- Have complete working knowledge of Front Office computer or manual system, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often
- Accurately manage cash handling, including receiving cash, checks and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making change correctly
- Review any reservations with special requests and work to block rooms accordingly
- Have knowledge of hotel rates, discounts and how to handle each
