The role of Guest Experience Specialist at Courtyard by Marriott Tallahassee Downtown/Capitol is critical to achieving the hotel's mission of creating memorable and unique stays for all guests. Unlike traditional front desk positions, this role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities aimed at enhancing every phase of a guest's visit. Guest Experience Specialists are empowered to take initiative and are entrusted with ownership of the guest experience in the main areas of the hotel. This means the role is highly dynamic and involves moving around the hotel to ensure operational needs are met, guest requests are addressed promptly, and exceptional service is consistently delivered.

From processing guest check-ins and check-outs to completing reports, assisting with the delivery of quality meals, and sharing valuable local insights, every action the Guest Experience Specialist takes is infused with a "guest first" mindset. The position calls for a hands-on approach where specialists must be physically active, capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and able to handle certain physical tasks such as carrying or moving objects up to 25 pounds.
