The position being offered is for a part-time, non-management role as a Guest Experience Expert within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations department at JW Marriott New Orleans. This role is central to the hotel’s promise of delivering Wonderful Hospitality. Always. The Guest Experience Expert is not merely responsible for facilitating standard check-in and check-out procedures; they are empowered to create comprehensive and unique experiences for each guest. By taking initiative and moving freely throughout their workspace, these experts ensure the seamless execution of diverse operational tasks alongside proactive guest engagement.

Guest Experience Experts handle a variety of responsibilities that extend beyond routine transactions – from managing operational needs and accurately completing reports to responding promptly to guest requests and showcasing local highlights. They enrich guest stays by creating a personable and efficient environment where every interaction feels thoughtful and integrated into the overall travel experience. Critical to success in this role are maintaining the highest quality standards, upholding confidentiality, protecting company assets, and adhering to Marriott's policies and procedures. Furthermore, professionalism in personal appearance, uniform compliance, and communications is essential.

This position requires that Guest Experience Experts have the physical stamina to remain on their feet for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Candidates need not have prior related work experience or supervisory experience, nor are licenses or certifications required. Educationally, a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
