The Front Desk Agent role at HomeTowne Studios by RedRoof is an essential position that serves as the face of the hotel and the first point of contact for guests. The agent will be responsible for greeting guests with genuine friendliness and handling various administrative and operational tasks related to guest services and reservations. This role demands a professional with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and management. As a Front Desk Agent, you will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, monitor room availability and status, and ensure confidentiality and accuracy in guest and hotel data management.

- High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
- one year in previous customer service position
- must have basic office skills including math, cash handling and computer skills
- basic English communication skills, verbal and written

Job Duties
- Welcome guests with friendly greeting and smile
- handle reservations request
- check guests in/out
- handle guest accounting and cashier functions
- make, change and monitor reservations
- review and report rate availability using front desk computer system
- update and monitor room status
- promote future sales
- maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- communicate with the General Manager and other Front Desk Representatives about problems, requests and/or concerns regarding guests and rooms
- work with housekeeping to communicate checkouts, stay-overs, sleepers, skip, rooms cleaned and rooms in need of maintenance
- perform all other duties as assigned
