The position available is for a Front Office Agent at Fairfield Inn Erie located at 2082 Interchange Road, Erie, PA. This hourly role requires a professional individual who is committed to delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests throughout their stay. The Front Office Agent acts as the initial point of contact for guests during check-in, throughout their visit, and at checkout, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Responsibilities include answering inquiries about local restaurants, transportation, and entertainment, handling reservations, and following hotel policies for cash and credit management. The agent must be well-versed in hospitality terminology and emergency procedures and be capable of operating the front desk computer system proficiently. Additionally, tasks such as balancing shift paperwork, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, supporting guest use of safe deposit boxes, and promoting hotel programs are integral to the role.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Computer proficiency required

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College coursework in related field helpful
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred

Job Duties
- Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment
- Follow all cash handling and credit policies
- Be aware of all rates, packages and special promotions
- Be familiar with all in-house groups
- Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees
- Operate all relevant aspects of the front desk computer system
- Complete shift checklist duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards
- Maintain and market promotions and guest programs
- Maintain a clean work area
- Assist guests with safe deposit boxes
- Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and assist as needed
