Known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to patient wellness, IssaquahMeadows Vision Center strives to deliver the highest standard of service and care, ensuring that every patient receives individualized attention and professional treatment. Our professional team comprises experienced optometrists, opticians, and support staff who work together to maintain a smooth and efficient patient experience from initial contact through follow-up care.
The Front Desk Administrator position at IssaquahMeadows Vision Center is a pivotal role that serves as the first point of contact for patients visiting the clinic. This full-time position requires an individual who excels in customer service and multitasking, upholding a positive attitude to guarantee the highest quality of patient interaction and care. Although no prior experience in an optometry environment is necessary, candidates should be eager to learn and willing to be trained in our systems and procedures. The role entails answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments efficiently, greeting patients with professionalism and courtesy, and preparing patient charts while maintaining strict confidentiality of all records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, possessing strong interpersonal skills that facilitate smooth communication between patients, opticians, and technical staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications is essential for managing patient information and appointment systems. Furthermore, exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to support daily administrative tasks and ensure clear and accurate documentation. This role also involves verifying insurance benefits and eligibility to assist billing procedures and supporting opticians and technicians with various tasks to maintain the clinic’s workflow.
Working hours for the Front Desk Administrator are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, offering a consistent schedule that supports work-life balance. The position offers a competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour along with benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our valued employees. IssaquahMeadows Vision Center emphasizes employee growth and provides on-the-job training to help the successful applicant develop skills specific to the optometry field, including familiarity with optometric terminology, abbreviations, and equipment.
Joining IssaquahMeadows Vision Center means becoming part of a compassionate team that values professionalism, continuous learning, and exemplary patient care. Candidates interested in applying should submit a resume for consideration, with selected applicants invited for interviews. We prioritize direct applicants only and respectfully request recruitment agencies to refrain from contacting us. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enter the healthcare field, especially for those looking to build a career in medical administration within an optometric setting, all while contributing positively to the eye health of our community.
